WebIRC FAQ for Medical personnel

This is a file to help people using Mibbit WebIRC to join #mci-ir @ irc.anonnet.org, with some simple information about the client.

First of all make sure that it says Using Secure Connection above the upper right corner of the client. If not press the text Use Secure Connection.

On top you will see a little tab that says "#mci-ir", if you get a private message it will show up as a tab next to it, so if you join for the first time it should be there.

If you want to change your nickname into something more unique than web_user|*** you can simply type /nick newnick

On the right side there are two groups Chatting and Idlers, the second group is collapsed, click it to expand and see everyone in the channel.

To see the topic (channel information) again write /topic in the chatbox. This can be handy if you've been in the channel for a long time and want to get hold of the information in it easily.

It is also possible to get translation between languages, there is a built-in translation. To use click on the "Translation" button in the lower left corner. Choose the language that you want your the text you type to appear in (the woundeds language) and then choose the language that you want the others to appear in (your language). There are several language options, Persian, English, Swedish, French etc. Then click on the "close" button to get back to the chat.
